happy birthdays!

happy birthdays!

I've been wanting to write this since forever! But the only other free day I had was last Sunday and my computer just had to hang after I was almost done with the entry. Argh.

My birthday was lovely this year! With too much good food. Way too much. Haha. My dear OG brought a Sweet Recipe chocolate cake to school in the morning and it was absolutely yummy-licious! It's is the nicest cake I've had in quite sometime. Yea, and of course my face had the pleasure of tasting the cake as well. Thanks guys! =D

As I was lucky enough to have my birthday falling on the week of make-up lectures, Peiyan, Sarah, Liying, Shawn and I left school early at about 1.30pm to have lunch at the Swensen's at Holland Village. I had the whole set of Fish and Chips plus manymanymany cups of free-flow icecream. It was a whole lot of fun and I swore then I wouldn't eat for the next three days because I was exploding from all the food.

Then in the evening I met Shawn for dinner at Crystal Jade's. Heh, so much for my swear. Food's just irresistable! Especially when it's good food. Haha. Anyway, we both ordered porridge, his was century egg with chicken, and mine was roasted duck/chicken. When the first bowl of porridge arrived, Shawn took it and added ALOT of pepper and soy sauce and other stuffs. I was quite appalled. But he said he liked it that way when I suggested he stop. Then, the second bowl came. I added a tiny pinch of pepper in comparison. We started eating, and realised we were eating the wrong bowl. It was so ironically hilarious because if he hadn't added so much extra seasoning we could have exchanged. Hahaha!

I love my presents! =D Such interesting ones!

Thanks guys! For making my birthday such a great one and going the trouble for the cakes and pres! Wee, I'm such a happy girl who have wonderful friends! =D

such thoughtful friends i have

We went to Sheng Chuan's (Jeremy) birthday BBQ last Saturday and had a ball of a time. Ashley, Shawn, Muz, Faith and I went down to the games room and played Foosball. The girls were hysterical. Everytime the ball so much so as moved, we scream. Really loudly. Haha. It was so exciting! And Ashley would go "Hey man! Who's your daddy! Who's your master!" everytime she scores. It was extremely entertaining.

Then we played DareandDare. And yes my lucky stars were shining down so brightly on me I had to go up to the rooftop and shout "I love Shawn!" till the rest of them can hear. Of course they couldn't hear the first two times. Peiyan's dare to kiss the birthday boy on the cheek! And faith had to ask a random uncle for his number. Hahaha. Oh and WeiXiang had to propose to Sarah in the middle of the pool deck area!

Sarah ran away. Haha. Poor wx!

shawn was supposed to help us take a picture
*shakes head

we found ourselves a more reliable photographer

happy birthday, sc!
yes, i understand
cake always end up everywhere else but the mouth

We celebrated Xiemai's birthday at Marina Square's Seoul Garden's yesterday. It was loads of fun with food! We tried to fry icecream, papaya, honeydew, sago and alot of random food. And how can we miss such a great opportunity to play the number. Haha. Shawn lost both times and had to eat the fried papaya with the burnt meat thingie that was stuck to the papaya with boiled strawberry icecream!

Sarah and I couldnt stop laughing the whole time. Everyone turned red in the face and accodring to WeiXiang, the redder you get the hornier you are. Haha. All of us were drunk from too much meat and too much laughter. Jiajun ate like a carnivore and he was so red in the face. I'm quite sure we ate all our money's worth of 26bucks per person! Lols. We left the table in a huge mess, that even I felt a little guilty. I think Seoul Gardens should ban students.

Hope you had a nice time too, Xiemai! Happy birthday! =D

a little morning scare

a little morning scare

I met Shawn at 7am at Boon Lay this morning. Yes, it is a little late but we could still have made it to school on time. BUT, we deciede that it was too rushy and we happened to be just a teeny weeny bit hungry. So we went for breakfast at MacDonald's at Jurong Point instead. Finally at 8.30am, with our tummies filled and satisfied, we well continued with our journey to school.

We reached school at about 9.20am and as usual, the security guards requested that we wrote our names on a list for latecomers. Being the smarty that I am, I decided to give him fake names and IC numbers. Shawn saw. He asked me to write for him too. So I filled in his name, class, IC number and form teacher for him. Then the security asked us for our ez-links to verify. And we both said we didn't have the card with us.

Security Guard (talking to Shawn): "So boy, can you recite your IC number to me please?"

Shawn: SPEECHLESS! Of course he wouldn't know a random number I made up!

Security Guard: "Now what, you forgot your IC number also?"

My goodness! I was stunned and at a loss for words. Before either of us could say another word, the security guard told us to follow him. He was going to send us to Mr. Lynn the DM! Of course, we both knew that would mean ugly questions, demerits and detentions!

The security guard was walking really fast, and he was kinda like way in front of us. I can't believe myself but I actually asked Shawn, "Shall we run away?"

Thank heavens he said no. Can you imaine what would the consequences be? Tsk. Sometimes I'm just that smart, yes I know.

Anyway, we were really lucky because Mr. Lynn wasn't in his office. So the security had to send us to the OM instead. The OM's a real Mr. Nice who just told us to tell him the truth instead by writing down our genuine names and IC numbers, and he'd let the matters rest without mentioning anything to anyone. Hee. Such a nice guy! =D

Coming to think of it right now, it was quite unbelieveable that I would know Shawn's full name, IC number, class and form teacher and be able to write all of that down without a single question, right?

So yes, that was me and my smart move.
