Sarah came over to stay after a full day of mugging at KAP yesterday! I rushed into Macs at 10.55am with Peiyan, just in time for hotcakes breakfast. =D Then we saw Jayce, asked her to join us because apparently her studying session with her juniors wasn't productive. Haha. Then Sarah and Wx and Chris Lim came and join us. We took 6 tables and were rather irritating for a while because somehow we ended up in a food-wrapper fight. Lols.
Okay, I was quite productive. Did the whole piece of tuition homework on Partial Fractions! Fine, it's one of the easiest topics in Math but I am still very proud of myself because I have finally started mugging! Tsk, but I really need to do that more often because Terms are in like less than 2weeks' time! Ahhh!
So anyway, Sarah came over after that and entertained my brother like no one ever does. Just look at the kind of conversations I hold with my brother.
"Is there another dimension in this world?"
"What other dimension? Don't talk rubbish to me please."
"But do you know there's a black hole in this world?"
"Huh what black hole??"
"They discovered a black hole in the world! They put a cow in and the cow never came back!"
"What?! I tell you, if you bring a cow from China and put it in New Zealand, it wouldn't find its way back to China right?"
"No, but they tied a long, long string to the cow and pulled and pulled and pulled but only the string came back, NO COW!"
"Whatever please."
Yes yes, call me a lousy sister but imagine if your brother talks to you about such stuffs every other minute of the day! Haha, but this is what Sarah said,
"Oh wait, I think your brother is very fascinating. Hey, where did you hear this from? And why did they choose a cow? Where did they throw the cow in and blah blah..."
Haha!
And when we went to Jurong Point to rent VCDs, Sarah actually suggested that we all go to the playground! Haha, had quite some fun there, doing all the "exercise stations". I bet my brother is secretly in love with Sarah and plotting how to kick me out of the house and inviting Sarah over for good. I never do such things! Though who doesn't miss those younger days when skinned knees heal so much faster than broken hearts eh?
When we came back I watched my first World Cup game! Korean vs Togo. Heh, the Korean team has a cute captain. Number 9! While I drooled over the Korean captain, this was what went on in my brother and Sarah's heads:
"Look! The spectators are so packed together, if a dinosaur stomps on them they will all die because they won't have space to run!"
Mind you, that was Sarah, my 17 years old dear friend, NOT my brother.
This is my brother,
"No! Look at the ball! Imagine if they replace the ball with a nuclear bomb when the ball goes out of the field. And then KAABOOOOOOMMMM!"
I was rendered speechless.
Oh yea, and he insists that the lift is an "evalator", not "elevator". When I tried to correct him, he went like "NO! There's no such word as elevator! It is called an e-va-la-tor. Don't believe me go and check the dictionary. It comes from the word e-va-late."
Goodness me.
We went to renew our passports today. And I compared the picture of my brother when he was in K1 and the picture he just took.

At long last!
I swear someone abducted my cute brother in the middle of the night.
Haha! But to be fair, that picture was really bad.

Anyway for the rest of last night we decided to watch Saw! Yes, two brave, bold girls wanted to spice up the stayover night. Oh gosh, it was so damn gory and creepy! It's about this guy who abducts people and sets up all sorts of traps to test the victims' willpower to stay alive. How much would you bleed to stay alive? Would you dare to saw off your own leg in order to live? It was so mental and I was absolutely grossed out! But I have to admit the plot was damn good. It got all the angles covered. If you're into horror flicks, Saw is a must-watch!
But we had to watch another show, 50 First Dates, a comedy, in order to get to sleep. Haha! Which resulted in our sleeping at 3.30am and being tired the whole day. And my very bad performance at training today. =( I just couldn't get my timing right and kept on driving out too early for the ball. And there were so many bad passes. I guess the only thing I did right today was catching all the balls meant for me. I must play 500% better for our first match on Monday!
Ooh I went to Bugis Village before training with Sarah today, and while she bought her really pretty bikini I decided to try two pieces and guess what! I kinda fell in love with one of them! I didn't even have the intention of shopping for bikins initially. But on a shopoholic's implulse, I reserved the bikini with 5bucks' deposit for a week. And after I walked out of the shop I realised I'm kinda broke and I'll have to starve next week if I want my bikini!
Tsk, the things shopping does to people. I need a job! One that tolerates spoilt-ness, laziness, lateness and erm occasional dumbness. Haha! Anyone?
What if it was for real? You have no idea how much you scared me.
