angst
Omg it's 28 days to The Great Pee.
I'm completely, totally, utterly 200% stressed out.
Math is absolutely killing me. I hate my brains. I can't do anything. I can't do partial fractions, differentiation, integration nor complex numbers. Everytime a Math problem presents itself to me, I close my eyes and see his fugly, fat, pimply, annoying face. It's killing me. I wished I had a different, nicer Math teacher. ARGH.
On top of all that, I have an outstanding account of 10 fucking demerit points to worry about. That translates to about 20hours of slogging as a library cow at the National Library to clear it all. What is wrong with the bloody school! HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW WE HAVE TO SERVE DC OR HAVE BEEN ISSUED A DEMERIT POINT WHEN THERE'S NO FUCKING NOTICE???
Fuck, I think it's the cursed time of the month. I'm a wreck. I want to brawl over the slightest things. I'm pissed at myself for being pissed at half the world nothing at all.
If you even vaguely suspect I don't like you, disappear when you see me tomorrow. Or I might punch you!
AHHHHHHH!
I need a part-time loverboy. Or just a motivated and extremely tolerant study mate will do.
LOOK YOU MOE PIECES OF SHIT! THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO BRIGHT LITTLE BRAINS!
I hate my life. ))):
God, I hope no one sues me for this entry. Freedom of speech & expression, yo!

family weekend
Okay, it's Sunday and while packing for school tomorrow, I came to the great realisation that I haven't done a single damned thing the whole weekend. Shit. I hate it. I always manage to waste entire weekends away somehow.
Saturday afternoon was spent sleeping because the attempted study session at Marina Square proved too boring and sleepy alone. Haha. And Saturday night was spent fighting with my parents.
And I mean a real, huge ugly fight. With alot of anger, alot of screaming and practically zero rationality.
It all began when Mommy came home late and tired, and the both of them realising they forgot that I haven't had dinner. So I had no dinner. When Mommy asked what I wanted to eat, I said 'Anything' and she said that was strung with attitude. Then Daddy told me to clear the dining table and I didn't understand why because he was still reading the papers in the back. So I ignored him then went on reading my stuffs. And Mommy went on somemore about my lousy attitude and I denied that pure existence of any. Then Daddy asked me to go fix up his phone and get him some Sudoku or something like that and for goodness's sake move off the table. I told him to wait. He nagged somemore and I got so irritated I slammed the papers shut and stormed off to my room and started throwing things around in attempt to look for Sudoku and whatnot for the Dad while he starts yelling from the end of the house for me to get my sorry ass to the dining table RIGHT THIS MOMENT and I yelled back NO I AM NOT COMING OUT AND THAT'S THAT OKAY!!! And by then I was already crying. Then my mom came in and told me to shut up because I was so rude and I said I didn't care because both of them weren't making any sense! After that I couldn't really remember what happened except that I kept yelling because it felt so good and the bad urge to pack my bag and run away somewhere and have them running after me. But I decided that I wasn't that bad a kid so I slammed myself onto the bed, plugged my iPod in at full blast playing the noisiest songs I could find and cried myself silly and screamed into the pillow until my head felt like it was going to explode before leaving the safety of my room and walked to the kitchen with my hugeass shades (because my eyes were too swollen to be seen by anyone at all) and wrecked up hair to get Panadol while ignoring my Mom's scrutiny. I think she was quite worried I might pop one too many pills actually. And the rest of the night was total darkness when I got too tired from everything and let myself fall asleep.
This morning, at seven, I let my parents coax me out of bed for an early breakfast because they said they were worried about me skipping dinner the night before. I relented after they agreed to wait for me outside while I change. Well, changing included stuffing a hairband on to my head to push back all my screwed up fringe and shades again because my eyes were almost swollen shut. I bet they were dying to laugh at me. I went straight back to sleep after breakfast because I just did not want to try keeping my swollen eyes open.
When I woke up at noon, I found 500bucks and note tucked under my pillow from Daddy - Here, for the new specs you were talking about. Omg, I felt like brattiest brat in this whole wide world. I have the bestest and most loving parents in the galaxy.
So yups, I just got back from dinner and Harry Potter with the entire family and my new (pink) specs in the making and everyone talking at normal volumes again and last night's fight all forgotten and put behind. Hee.
There, what a family weekend - the extremely good AND the extremely bad. And I realise that no matter what we say, we love each other all the same! Daddy, Mommy & the smelly little creature I call my brother, I love you all!!! Yes, that also means I'll learn and be alot less bratty and learn to keep my manners all the time when possible. (:

red soccer boots
I woke up at 8am and Geog lecture starts at 8.30am. So I rushed out of the house and decided to grab a cab halfway. Of course I wore t-shirt, shorts and slippers for a lazy Saturday morning.
But guess what! This morning, KSL suddenly decided NO MORE SLIPPERS IN MY LECTURE! On the way to school, I got three messages from dear friends telling me not to come if I'm in slippers because KSL just chased out everyone in slippers. Haha it seems the whole world knows I love to wear slippers. Heh.
Anyways, because I dragged my sorry ass out of bed so early in the morning and was already out of the house, I was determined to go. So I headed to school anyway thinking there's probably a pair of shoes in the locker because I saw a shoebag in there the previous day.
Horror of all horrors when I unzipped the shoebag - IT WAS JIAJUN'S BRIGHT RED GI-NORMOUS SOCCER/RUGBY BOOTS! The kind with spikes or studs (whatever 'cha call it)! I was appalled. But nevertheless still very determined to go in.
So I grabbed the shoebag and all the courage I could muster and barged up to LT 6. I dumped everything on the floor outside the LT and slipped my bare feet into the boots. Oh freak, I totally looked like Miss MacDonalds of the year! I was a wuss and took them off.
But then again, hell, I was already outside LT6! There was NO WAY I am going to make my miserable way back home feeling cheated and stupid. So I put those huge boots on again and waded up the steps. I swear it was like those movie moments when I put my hand on the door handle.
It's now or never.
I took a deep breathe and told myself: Okay whatver, this is it! And I swung open the door.
I popped my head in (being very late) and asked in a small voice, "Hi Sir, erm, can I come in?" And of course, following his answer of "SURE.", I had to trudge in in my huge shiny red soccer boots with like a hundred pairs of eyes on me! Naturally, the whole LT erupted into laughter. And KSL had to say, "Mengqi, I must say I like your shoes."
Oh God, that must have been the most embarassing moment of my life I swear. Okay, maybe one of the most embarassing.
I dashed to the seat Sarah saved for me (thank God for her), plopped down on the seat and kicked off the boots immediately.
All that for 40minutes of lecture on something that I could have read up on my own.

bathed in gold
When I walked into my room at dusk, and found it bathed in soft, golden light.

vanishing acts
"There are two kinds of love, mija. In the safe kind, you look for someone who's exactly like you. It's what most folks settle for. But then there's the other kind of love. Everyone's born with a ragged edge, and some folks crave the piece that's a perfect fit. You'll search for it forever, if you have to. And if you're lucky enough to find it, it looks so right, you start to tear at your own seams, thinking, maybe I could look just as perfect. But then, of course, when you try to get close to their other half, you don't fit anymore. That kind of love... you come out of it a different person than you were when you started." I was so sure I'll never...

fridays this way
Friday after school hangout was at Holland V again. I can't believe I went back to the two same exact restaurants. And I can't believe that I ate two freaking pieces of sushi that cost 6 freaking bucks. We seriously considered hiding the plate. Hahaha. It's pretty crazy. But anyways, the waiter missed out one plate when she was counting! So yay! Discount for us. Hee.
NYDC mudpies and magazines proved boring after awhile, mainly after the two of them somewhat convinced me that my face is ROUND while I kept trying to fight for my OVAL face. (We were looking at face shapes in the magazine). Haha. Roamed around Holland then Yiting brought us to this brand new place we've never been to before!
The first thing that hit me was the smell. Yiting termed it as the "smell of time". It is that old, musty smell of age that presses against your face when you walk into an old shopping centre if you know what I mean. There's even a colour to this sorta smell; it's mustard yellow if you close your eyes upon it. Anyways, it was Holland Shopping Centre we went to.
It has never occur to me that maybe I should take the escalator up beside Cold Storage and explore the place. There were quite a few interesting and classy shops! Lovely ideas for gifts. The first was a huge store that sold everything from souveniers to furniture. The first thing I wanted to buy was a pink basket because they were on 50& sale. HAHA. My two friends totally talked me out of it.
We fooled around quite abit, ahh-ed and ooh-ed at everything, and when we were finally done combing the whole place, Peiyan and I left armed with shopping bags. :D I think I found the prettiest gift for one of my friends! (:
And pictures!
Yiting says she's got The Pout.
I was trying to prove something.
I was getting pretty desperate.
Oh dammit my face is OVAL! Haha!
Boooored.
This colourful shop!
This is what you call oblooooong faces.
Gosh, these things are freaking scary man!
So there, an afternoon with two of my closest friends. (: Cheers to lazy Friday afternoons like that! No more Holland for the next few hundred Fridays please. I know how it feels now, looking in from the outside.

sticks and balls
Floorball for PE was probably the highlight of my day, even though my legs are aching terribly now. Hahaha especially with Mel's victory dance since the girls scored our one and only goal against the boys. Heh. But it was more balanced after we swapped into mixed teams! Shu makes an excellent keeper! :D Hahaha! Mel says she discovered her hidden talent. Way to go, Mel! And Ivan. Omg Ivan. He's such a boy to bully! Hee.
Yes friends, the point is I REALLY, REALLY MISS HOCKEY! I'm so happy we're playing floorball! The closest substitute for the moment.
I'm in a horribly cranky mood. I think it started from the freaking 100minute GP lesson. It's so super long it's never ending! It's moments (times many) like these that make me dislike school I think. Eeeeeks. And there's another 80minute one tomorrow. ): SUCKS SHIT I tell you!
Then it got worse when I clumsily smashed the toilet bowl lid. It's the huge heavy lid on top of the water tank, not the toilet seat cover. It got Mommy mad and me even madder. Arrgggh.
Maybe it's high time for me to get a punching bag. I've been thinking for awhile now. Haha ease the violent streaks in me.
Okay this is a totally pointless entry, serving no other purpose other than ranting. Haha. Oh gosh, I'm so looking forward to the weekend! Superficiality fills every void. It's so easy.

productivity, baby!

That's from last week, at the tennis courts with some of the seniors during the long break after lessons finish at 11.30am, before our sneak trip. Heh.
This week it's swimming! :D With Sarah, Fran & Sammie! Omg the weather was excellent for swimming, sunny and hot. Only thing is that I have swimsuit tanlines now! And I forgot to bring my googles and it was freaking hard to swim in a straight line with my eyes closed! Sarah had the good fortune to swim beside me and when I clashed into her, we both laughed so hard we almost drowned. Hahaha! You don't even wanna know about what happened when I tried backstroke. Anyways, in the spirit of the swimming season, we swam 8laps++! Not bad eh.
Her many poses with the cake! Hahaha.
AA2!
Lunch and study date (it actually sounds nice) with Sarah after school. Omg the weather was terrible! But it was all nice and cooling when we left the place cos we studied all the way until 8++. Haha actually I think I'm just stating that to make myself feel better about my total unpreparedness for Prelims, which are like SOON. Halfway we saw SongHui, Faiz, Sheng Chuan & ZhongChi so it kinda felt like good old secondary days! (: Except that I was super productive today - I did abit of Vectors (which I'm still very bad at after two weeks!), finished a whole comprehension AQ included and the terribly difficult Math Assignment 1. I feel like a freaking homework machine man! Hahaha okay I gotta try and keep this up. :D
<3
We decided to change Songhui's boring wallpaper on his phone. Hee.
It's amazing - the friends we make and keep. Like three years ago. It's a pretty nice feeling.

celebration of youth
In celebration of youth, Mommy & I went shopping again! Haha. Not those shopping-shopping, but one of those random-shopping again. Heh. Initially she only wanted to get new sandals and new school shoes for my brother.
Here's what we ended up with: stationery, 3tops (hers), 2pairs of new shorts (mine), sandals (as planned), school shoes (as planned), a new bottle for me(finally!), new swimming goggles for my brother and a novel. Haha!
See, that's what I mean by "I love random shopping!" You don't really get disappointed if you don't end up buying anything but ending up buying something that you like makes you really happy! :D
Oh yeah, and there's something strange going on with my stationery. It's pissing me off to no end. No end as in I feel like screeching away and tearing my books. It totally ruins my mood to study, and I haven't been doing that very much. Argh. This morning, I turned my entire room upside down looking for my liquid paper, because I'm damn sure that I used it the night before. The cap was still lying on the table. I couldn't find it and gave up doing my work. Yeah, that's how frustrated I was. And you know what? IT'S LYING ON MY TABLE BESIDE THE CAP, RIGHT NEXT TO THE NEW ONE RIGHT THIS MOMENT!
I swear it wasn't there before. A few days ago, I lost my new eraser. Now I'm just waiting to see if it appears from nowhere again because I just bought a new one as well. ARGH. This thing has gotta stop! Because I really gotta start mugging like crazy!
Tsk school starts with my least favourite day of the week tomorrow. I hate Tuesdays. Even though we get to go to school 40minutes later, it means terrible jams and clashing with the working people. And there's Geog lecture PLUS tutorial! Meowmeow for 2hours in ONE DAY. To think I complained when KSL was teaching us. This one's just terrible. By the end of the lesson, usual survival rate's maybe 10%. The rest would have fallen asleep. I am not exaggerating.
And then there's Math lecture AND tutorial! I hate that damned subject. To top it all up, I have Math tution from 9pm to 11pm at night.
Ahhh and all my favourite serials on Channel 55 have ended and I promised myself I won't follow the new series even though the 9pm show looks really good! Okay, I shall only watch the one on Channel 8 from 11.30pm to 12.30am. Dammit, I wish they would switch it to a more sensible timeslot.
Schoooooooooooool. Thank God for all my classmates. Oh friend, haven't you noticed? I'm letting it slip.
Swimmers! :D With screwed up hair.
