rugby tens'

rugby tens'

Saturday morning 4 girls dragged themselves out of bed at 8am, met up and made their way to PJC to watch the rugby tens'. The competition heat was strong. The teams were good. But the weather was sweltering! We felt like we were suntanning at the bleachers.

After that we went for lunch with the rugby team. It was a hot, hungry, and strange affair at the coffeeshop nearby. It was strange because there were like, 20 guys including their coach and Mr. Mark Ng, and just 4 of us. Haha. The coffeeshop auntie was so biased she took all the boys' orders while we were starving! Oh well, I guess it makes sense cos obviously they eat much more than we do. Haha. The food was rather good though! :D

"Oh my heck! It's like National Day! Look, they're all wearing red!" - Shiyan

And it was arcade time at Lot 1! It was SO MUCH fun! Haha. We played Daytona and screamed and banged the stirring wheel like mad. Because we only bought one card, everytime we played we had to tap and pass the card down the line. Haha! It was pure entertainment for both players and onlookers. Shiyan came in last 3 out of the 4 times we played. Malone lost to her! That deprived guy almost never went to the arcade when he was a kid. He sure missed out a great deal!

We played Shooting Hoops and I tell you it's by far the most tiring arcade game I've played so far, next to Bishi Bashi. The balls just keep coming and you have to keep on grabbing them and throwing them into the hoop. It ain't as easy as it sounds! 4 girls accumulated the score of 201points and that was when the boys wanted to compete. But we were greedy and chose the machine with an exceptionally high number of balls, because Jotham stole them from other machines and dumped them there.

So about 10 people were shooting hoops at 3 machines alongside at the same time. It was crazy, I tell you. And moral of the story : Do not be greedy. Why? Cos we had so many balls they all got stuck and none of the balls came out! Hahaha! In the end, the highest score was 115points and the lowest, was well, 6points. I bet we broke the lowest record ever!

Arcade is so much fun! All you bored school kids should go get your share of fun this holidays! Haha but I must say it's a total waste of money. We spent at least 30bucks altogether, just to behave like kids and squeal and jump like lunatics. :D My number seven; it ain't easy watching you cry.

Shiyan was one of them!

The boys'.

And the girls'. =/
