holiholiday

holiholiday

My title - it's a public holiday in the school holidays, you know? Haha okay never mind me.

So I went random shopping with Mommy today. You know, the kinda whereby you just walk around and see if anything is standing around screaming "TAKE ME HOME!!!". Yeah, that was what we did. And gosh, we ended up with a truckload of stuffs.

After lunch we went stationery shopping first to replace my lost pencilcase. Gosh, we ended up buying a whole stack of assessment books for my brother and a few storybooks he picked out. Goodluck to his June holidays. Haha. But don't get it wrong, he's not like suffocated by work and all. He's got piano lessons, Wushu lessons, swimming lessons, ping-pong (I call it his gay sport) practices in school, and time for computer games and TV and I don't know what else. I don't know how he finds the time. Haha.

Anyways, even though I bought over twenty bucks worth of stationery, it still doesn't make me very happy. Usually I'm really happy after spending money. I just feel that stationery is a form of collection, and not a one time massive buy. It's like, I've lost all the souveniers from all the holidays or something. Okay, I'm really anal about this. Haha.

And then we went to ALL THE SPORTING SHOPS (that's 3) to look for yoga mats for Mommy and best friend. Yeah, they've got another bestfriend-time on their list now - yoga time. The first shop we went to sold Nike mats. They contemplated for the longest time and decided to go to the other shops to look at VGA ones, compared prices and discussed the quality of the mats AND FINALLY DECIDED TO GO BACK AND GET THE NIKE ONES from the first shop. Gosh, tell me why am I not surprised. Haha.

After that we went to Harvey Norman and Courts to look at Idontknowwhat and Mommy suddenly decided that the living room needs another fan and so does my brother's room. I refused to get any kinds of fans in my room (especially wall fans because it's so freaking hideous!) other than the ceiling fan, so we bought 2 tower fans! Just like that! At random! Quite cool ah. And yes, we combed both stores before going back to Harvey Norman to get the very first one we saw.

But the not cool part was when she realised that we need to do some grocery shopping, and then come back up to collect the fans and lug EVERYTHING (2 tower fans, maybe 7 bags of grocery, one huge stack of books) to the cab stand between the 2 and a half of us (because my brother can't carry alot). Gosh, it was no joke okay. Halfway down I was dragging the damned fan (with a box, of course) on the floor. Thank goodness for the security guard who stands at the cab stand, doubling as a bell boy. He opens cab doors for people and stuffs like that. Funny that they have it at a heartland shopping mall eh. BUT VERY GOOD SERVICE! (:

Goodness me. I just collapsed on the couch when I got home. It was so tiring! I am never going random shopping with Mommy anytime soon again. Shopping must have an agenda this time, and it shall only be clothes, bags or shoes. Haha!

So anyways! Here're the overdued pictures from Monday's dinner with my classmates before most of them went off for the choir concert. I took a really expensive cab ride down to Marina Bay because I thought I was freaking late, but it turned out I wasn't even close to the latest. Haha.

The M's.
And this is the picture in which my mom thought I was naked with a cushion. Tsk!

The S's.

Oli's O burger. Haha!

Matin's hugeass burger.

Four of us! Almost colour coordinated again. Haha!
And we stood in front of the escalator, looking weird just to take this picture.

All of us. :D It's so small cos I stole it from Mel's blog

Check out the old man's cap! It's really cool!

After all of them went off, Mel and I went shooopping! Saw many, many nice dresses but no money. ): Shall drag Mommny to go CLOTHES shopping soon. :D I really want that turqouise dress from Zara! It's damn cute and it's only 40bucks for a dress! Definitely a must-buy, right? Haha. Oh and Diva was having 50% sale! Yay I bought a pair of earrings. Very happy with myself. (((: So many emoticons (is this what people call them nowadays?) in this paragraph.
Haha!

Since I'm on this, I shall update about West Side Story, which I watched with them on 7th April 2007. Haha! More than a month late!

Dinner with Mel, Shu, Sheryll, Jarrod, Boren, Samuel See & Xiang Un at Sun & Moon.

HAHHA! The bottle of water above cost more than 4bucks! When the waitress asked, "Water? Clear or sparkling?", they ordered clear because we thought it's the normal ice water that comes free! But NO, it costs 4bucks! Boren wanted them to fill tap water for him. Hahaha. So glad I opted for peach punch. :D

Random street shots.

Such a pretty picture of the Sg river that I decided to post it all by itself although I'm really lazy to load pictures tonight.

Shu, Sheryll, Mel & me! :D

Another one on Shu's cam.
We're colour coordinated, unplanned. And including shoes! :D Though you can't see my white ones. Haha.

Qiuyan! :D

The M's again.

Again! :D This was after.

The Clinic's pretty building.

MINI COOPER!

All ours. :D

I think the sign in the first picture is damn funny. Haha! Good thing we walked DOWN, not up. We'd have died halfway, all three of us. Hahaha.

I actually wanted to blog about Phantom of the Opera with Phuay on 13th May (late, late) too but it's getting pretty late and I've got Geog lecture tomorrow! Oh and by the way I'm writing this on Sunday night, not Thursday. It says Thursday because I don't wanna look so late. Haha! My blogging dates are all screwed up. And I think Phantom deserves an entry all by itself anyways! :D Until the next one, love!
